Hotel Indonesia Group (HIG), Indonesia state-owned hotel chain was established in September 28th, 2016 at the Patra Jasa Building in Jakarta. Inaugurated by the Minister of State-owned Enterprises - Rini Soemarno, HIG aims to become the leading hotel chain in Indonesia providing the best service to domestic and foreign tourists, featuring international standards of Indonesia hospitality.
HIG was formed after the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of State-owned Enterprises consolidate the existing state-owned hotels and appoint PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero) as the coordinator. The consolidation began with spirit of synergy among hotels owned by PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero); PT Patrajasa, a subsidiary of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina; and PT Aero Wisata, a subsidiary of national flag carried PT Garuda Indonesia.
With the synergy and the joining State-owned hotels such as Grand Cempaka Hotels, HIG had marked it's footprints in more than 40 hotels across the archipelago, and more hotels in the development pipeline.
